"Reliance Jio said that they succeed in developing and testing the Fifth-generation Radio Access Network (5G RAN)"

Reliance JIO said  that they succeed in developing and testing Fifth-Generation (5G) Radio Access Network (RAN). In collaboration with Qualcomm  Jio has developed a device which is a smartphone and it is capable of 1 gigabit per second.  Jio is about to launch 5G smartphone for less than 5,000/- and rapidly reduce the price to Rs 2,500 to 3,000. The company is also working on its own 5G network equipment and has asked the Department of Telecom to allocate it spectrum for testing before exporting these products. The government is yet to heed to the request of Reliance jio.
